Netflix Selects Ideal Performer for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3

The Secret Organization is poised to make a major impact in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t unfold until the third season, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.

Netflix announced this week that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will portray Bon Clay. Bon Clay has the ability to change into an exact copy of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their right hand. The actor, who is non-binary and goes by they/them, will portray a version of that figure re-envisioned as non-binary identifying, as opposed to as a drag queen, in the live-action show, unlike the initial comic and anime.

This performer is joined by multiple fresh additions tasked with bringing the group to life, featuring head the main antagonist, portrayed by the seasoned performer, an emerging star as a key member, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the lineup as the monarch of Alabasta.

Although this character is a key figure of the group, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. Considering season 2 set to cover the Little Garden storyline, this marks a significant shift in the timing of the character’s debut, one that could suggest more adjustments to the plot development.

Their mix of sharp comedic timing and emotional depth makes them a perfect fit for the character. Besides their latest vocal work in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and numerous honors for creating and performing in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, highlighting the range they’ll add to one of One Piece’s most celebrated roles.
