Major Moscow's Assaults Eliminate Electricity Throughout Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have faced escalating strikes in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in power cuts in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were hurt while residents in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to drinking water, according to local authorities.

Meanwhile, a young boy was lost their life in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the country's south-east, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has increased attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the United States, the EU and the G7 - in delivering protection systems and applying restrictions," mentioned in a online statement.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen projectiles targeted energy facilities, characterizing such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were striving to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles struck power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the strikes on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by local officials.

Area administrators said the city endured significant strikes throughout the evening. A minor was killed and multiple civilians were hurt.

The assaults follow evenings of bombing campaigns in the territory, parts of which are occupied by invading troops.

All of Ukraine is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are tougher to spot.

National leaders told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the national power system, with attacks already disrupting gas facilities.

Authorities confirmed utility staff and officials were bracing for more assaults.
