Following a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. And there are multiple package options offered in this deal.
The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map created using the CC3+ software platform.
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.
Starting at thirty dollars, the comprehensive package contains these components:
All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. There's also an donation allocation menu just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
