Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a unexpected collaboration that defies traditional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A strange confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine cult.

The mission focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Extra Content

Players who finish the quest will acquire an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Titan-based costume for Yasuke
• Mikasa costume for Naoe
• Unique arms
• Survey Corps vehicle

Newest Free Story Addition

This patch also introduces the game's newest complimentary story episode, titled "The Mystery." This lighthearted mission pairs Naoe and Yasuke as they swap characteristic techniques: Naoe debuts a performative interpretation of Yasuke's war kick, while Yasuke masters subduing stealth takedowns.
